In the position as an electrical engineer you are a part of the whole project cycle where you make sure the product have the right quality, cost, utility, testability and producibility all in line with the market standards and the environmental requirements.

The main part of the role is designing the cable layout in the heat pumps and write electrical schematics drawing. You are responsible for that the electrical components and design are according to norms and regulations concerning electrical safety; EMC and LVD where the implementation of electrical requirements are according to safety, function and cost. In this position you are also responsible for maintenance, quality improvement, cost reduction and optimization of current electrical design and components of existing heat pump products range. You work according to internal electrical guideline and are part of continuous improvement of the guideline according to technical trends and state of the art technology. You are responsible for establishing time planning and documentation for projects concerning electrical development.

You work closely with the other R&D; teams in Tranås and also with your colleagues at other sites in Europe. Collaboration with the support documentation team with data and review of documents is also a work package for you. Building samples for R&D; in regards of the cabling and support during external test mainly EMC and LVD will also be included in your tasks.

You also support quality department with analysis and troubleshooting in respect of electrical components.

This position requires a Master or Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with a few years of prior experience in power supply, power management and power electronics drives and actuators design. Electrical design, specification, calculation, design and testing electronic hardware components and systems are also part of your prior experiences. It is also desired that you have PCB design tool experience, performing schematic capture and layout design taking in consideration of EMC. Having good knowledge about industry standards like IEC (EN60335 etc) and experience in CAD tool(s) are also desirable. Project experience in product technical development is a benefit.
